No injuries just one black eye

I walked through thru the family room to wash my hands, after putting the camping gear away with my helpers.
Katie said "Mom why do you have a black eye? " I thought she was teasing me until I looked in the bathroom mirror.
It was indeed the eye that was hurting from an already inflamed sty, but I did indeed have a black eye. I looked closer to realize it was the fire blackening from the bottom of the camping pans.
All in good fun. Here is the horrendous picture.

Concert attendees

The kids were fascinated with the band. Matthew was intrigued with the drummer who put on a quite solo performance. Stephen want to sit up close to see the instruments. Molly just plain enjoyed it.
I appreciated relaxing after the long day. Looking forward to my OWN bed!

Yeah we slaved over the camp fire and rustled us up some, Pepperoni pizza, and deep fried corn dogs with french fries. Nothing like homemade grub and we topped it off with big mugs of Adam's ale (water H20)

Yes there are many pirates at Cherry Hill park disguised as innocent swimmers but you can tell them by their black swim pants and red and white striped tops.

Daniel turns 22

We liked the fact that he picked the Hershey chocolate pie as his birthday treat! We celebrated at Pizza Factory in Lindon and they made him a free pepperoni pizza in the shape of the no. 22. They also gave us $3.00 off his desert he ordered which was a brownie sundae.
